Our Story

Our journey to creating Eutierra Essence started with a shared love for nature and a deep passion for crafting. In 2022, we welcomed our first child, and our vision for a more nature-connected lifestyle began to take shape. Eleven months later, our second child arrived, and with it came the reality of a rapidly changing life—going from no kids to two in such a short time. The demands of child care became overwhelming, and we quickly realized that balancing both work and family was a challenge. It became clear that in order to be there for our kids, we needed to make some bold decisions.

I became a stay-at-home dad, and my wife stepped into the role of the sole provider. As we adjusted to this new lifestyle, a spark of inspiration ignited within us: why not create an online store where we could share our love of nature and crafting with the world? Eutierra Essence was born from that idea—a place where we could offer unique, nature-inspired crafts that connect people to the beauty of the earth, all while helping us pave the way toward our dream of homesteading.

Every package is insured for its value through the carrier.
We take special care to pack each order with durable materials.
Fragile or sculptural pieces (like Forever Trees, suncatchers, wire art) receive extra internal protection to help them arrive safely.

Once a package is accepted by the shipping carrier, they become responsible for delivery and insured transit.

Because this work is handmade and uses natural materials:

Dye patterns may differ in flow, saturation, and balance.

Stage 1: A non-refundable design & material deposit to begin
Stage 2: Remaining balance due before shipping or pickup

By purchasing or participating, you acknowledge:

Some pieces, especially rock-based trees, sculptural mounts, and select customs, are built using industrial-strength adhesives.

PRODUCT CARE GUIDES

Wire Trees & Sculptural Pieces

Wire trees are formed one branch at a time and secured to their bases with supportive structure in mind. They’re durable in normal handling but not meant to be bent or repeatedly reshaped. To clean them, dust with a soft cloth, small brush, or even compressed air on a low setting. Soaking or scrubbing isn’t recommended, especially where bonding is present. If branches shift slightly during transport, they can usually be gently encouraged back into place with two fingers and light pressure. Always lift from the base rather than the branches to protect the structure.

Stone, Crystal & Rock Bases

Stone foundations give each piece presence and weight. Because they are natural, textures and edges may vary and surfaces may not be perfectly uniform. Wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth is usually enough to refresh them; harsh scrubbing or chemicals are unnecessary and can damage surface polish. If placing on delicate furniture, felt pads, fabric, or a tray can help prevent scratches. These pieces are happiest on stable shelves or tabletops, rather than high ledges where a fall could cause chips or injury. Natural lines, mineral formations, and tiny surface variations are expected and part of the stone’s story.

Suncatchers & Glass-Based Decor

Suncatchers are made to enjoy light, not impact. Choose a location where they can glow without being in the direct path of swinging doors, curious pets, or frequent bumps. They are designed for indoor or protected outdoor areas (like covered patios or window alcoves) rather than rain-exposed or windy spaces. For cleaning, wipe gently with a microfiber cloth; avoid submerging or applying liquids directly to bonded areas or wire components. If hardware ever loosens over time, simply tighten the hook or ring just as you would with everyday hanging decor. These pieces are not intended for car use or rearview mirrors.

Bonded & Secured Areas

Some items use a quality bonding agent where strength and structure matter. For example, where wire meets stone or where glass is seated into its framework. These areas are not meant to be soaked, boiled, or exposed to high heat, and trying to pry apart bonds will damage the piece. A light scent may be present in newer items and will fade naturally over time. If you’re sensitive to scent or adhesives, feel free to ask about the piece before buying so we can confirm whether it’s a good fit for you.

Propagation Jars

Jewelry

Our jewelry is made for regular wearing but prefers not to be tugged, stretched, or slept in. A quick wipe with a dry cloth after wear helps remove skin oils and keep finishes fresh. Avoid applying perfumes, sprays, or lotions directly to the piece; getting ready first and putting jewelry on last is a smart habit. The ear hooks are silver-colored, not sterling, and may not be suitable for customers with metal sensitivities. If you’re unsure, please ask us before purchasing so we can help you decide. Store pieces separately to avoid tangling or bending wire forms.

Propagation jars are intended for plant cuttings and water only, not soil, hot liquids, or chemical cleaners. Rinse gently by hand if needed, and avoid dishwashers or abrasive scrubbing. Like suncatchers, they’re designed for indoor or protected outdoor settings where wind, impact, or freezing temperatures won’t be an issue. Check the hook or chain occasionally to ensure secure placement, just as you would with any hanging household decor.

Our tie-dye pieces are made with professional, permanent dyes on cotton or rayon garments. Both are designed for everyday wear, but each fiber benefits from slightly different care.

Cotton is sturdy and holds color beautifully with minimal effort. Cold water and a gentle cycle are usually all it needs; the first few washes may release a little extra pigment, which is completely normal. After that, wash with similar colors and tumble dry low or hang dry. Cotton softens naturally over time and may gently fade with years of washing or strong sun exposure, much like a well-loved graphic tee coming into its own. That change is a natural part of the fabric’s lifespan, not a flaw.

Rayon is lightweight and drapes softly, which gives it such a comfortable, flowing feel. We recommend handwashing rayon in cold water to best protect the fibers and shape. If convenience is preferred, cold wash on a delicate cycle is generally fine. Avoid wringing or twisting rayon to remove water. The fibers become more vulnerable when wet and can stretch or weaken. Instead, gently press out excess water with a towel and hang or lay flat to dry. Avoid dryers when possible; high heat can shorten rayon’s lifespan and change its drape.

For both fabrics, avoid bleach and harsh stain removers when possible. They can strip or distort the dye’s chemistry. Washing garments inside out can help reduce friction and support long-term vibrancy. If you ever notice excess dye release, a quick cold rinse is usually all that’s needed to settle the fibers.

Order Questions & Changes

If you need to update an address, adjust a custom detail, or ask about a project in progress, message us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but we cannot guarantee changes once an item has shipped or production has started.

If we can fix it, we will.

If we can’t, we’ll explain why, no runaround.

If Something Arrives Wrong

Please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with clear photos of:

the item
packaging
the shipping label

This helps us file insurance claims (every package is fully insured) and fix the issue faster. We will always communicate next steps and options.

We don’t expect perfection,

but we do expect to take responsibility when it’s on us.

We would rather answer 10 questions than have you end up with something that doesn’t feel right. If you’re on the fence, ask. We’ll give you the most honest information we can so you can decide with confidence.

We respect a “no” just as much as a “yes.”
