Looking for an activity that’s easy to host, fully engaging, and leaves your residents smiling long after it’s over? Our tie-dye sessions are designed with accessibility in mind, whether seated or standing, everyone can take part.

For many residents, tie-dye is a blast from the past that sparks conversation, laughter, and nostalgia, while also offering a fresh creative outlet that feels new and exciting. Each participant receives a keepsake they designed themselves, giving them not only a sense of pride but also a tangible reminder of the fun they shared together.

Booking Details

Booking Timeline

– Please schedule your event 6–8 weeks in advance. This gives us time to order supplies, prepare materials, and coordinate with your staff.

Staff Presence

– Community or facility staff must remain present with residents throughout the event. We provide the materials and creative guidance, while your team offers resident support.

Liability Waivers

– Each participant must have a signed release of liability form prior to the event. If a resident has a legal guardian or conservator, they must sign the waiver on the resident’s behalf.

Permits

– If hosting at a public park or community space, the facility or program is responsible for securing any required permits.

Event Timing

A typical tie-dye party runs about 3-4 hours total:

  • 1 hour setup

  • 1-2 hours of creative fun

  • 1 hour cleanup

We offer morning, afternoon, or evening events to suit your schedule.

Keepsakes

– Residents create their own one-of-a-kind piece, which we finish and return to staff for easy distribution. Each item becomes a colorful reminder of the fun they shared together.

Pricing 

A tie-dye event has a $50 base fee, which includes setup, cleanup, dyes, supplies, and creative guidance. Clothing items are selected separately from the garment chart, and the final cost will depend on the number of participants and which items are chosen. For example, a party with the $50 base fee plus 10 youth t-shirts at $20 each would total $250 before tax.

A 50% deposit is due when the final garment chart is submitted (2 weeks before the event) and the invoice is created. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the event, on the day of, before activities begin.
